Reimagining traditional financial systems
For many years, credit and debit card payments were the only digital payment options many businesses could accept. Dwolla was founded to change that, making account-to-account payments possible and more affordable for merchants. Early on, Dwolla was a highly technical solution to the pervasive challenge of interchange fees. As payment options proliferated, Dwolla found itself in need of clearer messaging to better differentiate in a crowded market.
CLIENT
For more than a decade, Dwolla has been unlocking the power of the financial system with easier access to a variety of bank payments. From ACH and instant payments to enabling digital wallets, Dwolla has made pay-by-bank solutions easier to access.
PROJECT
As part of a website redesign, Dwolla wanted to refresh its positioning, better define the brand voice, and create strong messaging pillars to improve its storytelling and deliver greater market impact.
WHAT WE DID
In collaboration with Clear Digital (formerly WebEnertia), we interviewed core Dwolla team members and workshopped new messaging. We also wrote a number of web pages as part of the refresh to establish the brand voice.
